Lets start off by welcoming our boxer of the week Hayden MacPhee!!
Hayden has been boxing for a number of years now and decided to join the New Waterford Club this year.
He is an extremely dedicated boxer with 11 fights under his belt and a record with 6 wins - 5 losses, and he believes that you learn just as much from the loss as the wins.
Having always wanting to be a boxer, Hayden said when he was looking for a new club he chose New Waterford because "they work me hard, and I enjoy the hard work and dedication shown by all the coaches and boxers".
As much as Hayden is dedicated to boxing, he also enjoys his down time as well especially at the skate park on his scooter. in the future he is hoping to be a heavy equipment operator.
Hayden's advice about boxing is to be confident and always think you can do it!
